Vogelpohl to take helm, Adams will continue to advise

LITTLE ROCK
– Second District Congressional candidate, U.S. Army Reservist and former U.S. Attorney Tim Griffin today announced Little Rock-native Carl Vogelpohl will take over as campaign manager in his bid to replace outgoing U.S. Rep. Vic Snyder.

Vogelpohl replaces Bryant Adams, who stepped down to focus on his upcoming marriage and new business opportunities. Adams will remain involved with the campaign as a senior advisor.

“Bryant is a good friend who was an integral part of our victory in the Republican Primary,” Griffin said. “He will continue to be a valued member of our team as we work toward winning in November.”

Vogelpohl transitions to the campaign manager role after serving as a senior advisor since the launch of the Griffin campaign in September 2009. He is the founder and principal of Little Rock-based Split Rail Consulting. A graduate of the University of Arkansas, Vogelpohl is a veteran of Arkansas political campaigns, having managed or advised candidates at the local, state and federal levels.

“Carl has been with us since day one and was a tremendous help to us during the primary, especially with our grassroots and get-out-the-vote efforts,” Griffin said. “His talents will help us spread our positive message of common sense conservative values, private sector job creation, smaller government and reducing the national debt.”
